We currently have three Fundraising Support Groups in the Southern area but would welcome the opportunity to expand into other towns or expand our current groups.

Currently our groups are in:

• Banbridge / Tandragee
• Dungannon
• Newry

Our groups raise money in a variety of ways from events such as sponsored walks, street collections and concerts to building on their natural links with their local community via sports clubs and local businesses. The support of our groups – and the numerous other supporters who hold their own fundraising events for NICHS throughout the year makes a real difference to our work.

Annual events in the Southern Trust area include:

• Stars in their Eyes competition, Dromore
• Orchard County Vintage Rally, Armagh
• Peter Lashford Golf Tournament, Armagh
• Sponsored walk, Tandragee
• Sheepdog trials, Hilltown
• Tractor run, Rathfriland
• Tractor run, Galbally
• Festival Bowls Tournament, Markethill
